Originally designed as a all-purpose ammunition bag to carry the large tin cases of carbine ammo and others in a large bundle. Made in 1944 with canvas, these NYLON version of the GP m1 bag is the replacement the military made after WW2 post Korea, early Vietnam LC-1 era. D-rings around the bag and a clip to clip onto other bags or to add its own GP strap or any other straps-slings. The M1 Nylon Ammo Bag DOES NOT originally come with GP strap. There is an option to add a nylon GP strap for this item on the drop down.
