Mk II Talker Helmet was designed for naval personnel, particularly those on deck, using sound-powered telephones for communication. Developed in 1942, the larger helmet designed was to fit over the bulky headphones and microphone of the sound-powered telephone systems.
Note: some minor rust marks on outside of helmet from storage.
