I’ve been looking for some of these things for quite some time. It’s easy enough to get a hold of a pair of Vietnam Jungle Boots in whatever size you need and even easier to buy new ones. They still make them to Military specifications if you’re willing to pay for them, but getting your hands on a pair of these insoles is another matter entirely. The insoles in modern jungle boots are just fine for walking around in, but if you’re going to use your boots for extended treks through jungles, swamps, rivers, etc… the modern insoles negate one of the most important features of the jungle boot… shedding water and keeping air underneath your feet. The British Military version of this insole is much more readily available if you don’t mind paying several times the value of the product in shipping costs. I just recieved the two pairs that I ordered from Omaha’s and despite being made of plastic which is 30+ years old, they are in excellent, completely usable condition. The service was friendly. The delivery was prompt and the product is as advertised. Thanks guys! I’m headed out into the Everglades!!!!
