Those look-a-likes, with their fragile cast-iron heads and cheap pine wood handles, work great if you are drawing designs in play sand. Just take one whack into some hard clay or rocky soil and you'll see why they fall under the classification of items that are "made to sell". This vintage workhorse is "made to use". It has a drop-forged steel head and a solid oak handle. They are used and come with original olive drab cover. We can put a brand new, 1944 dated khaki cover on it for a little extra.
