This pith helmet style is reminiscent of a classic fireman's helmet. Great for keeping cool and comfy in the desert,jungle,or backyard/beach sun. The helmet was named after M/Gen. Sir Garnet Wolseley, who developed the original pattern. Pith is a cork type material that is a natural insulator. These helmets are covered in the classic khaki cotton canvas and work even better when they are wet.
