Original French Aluminum Canteen with 1 liter capacity and plastic rubber-gasket lid. These come out of heavy wooden crates dated 1952. The canteens have original French military markings on the bottom, but are not individually dated. These are really beautiful, brushed aluminum canteens and one of the best values anywhere in metal canteens. Most of the rubber gaskets need replacing, due to age. Old surplus, good condition. These do not come with the canteen cover. No french canteen covers available at this time
