US military metal ammunition boxes. Original 1970's surplus. Brand new in original wooden case.Everybody refers to these as 50 caliber ammo cans, but they may be stamped as having held a variety of armaments. May be slight wax-paper packing residue on the boxes. It can be easily removed with WD-40. Two 50 cal sized boxes per case. 6" x 7" x 12". Shipping charges may be higher depending on quantity order and shipping destination. Approx. weight is 25 lbs.
While these boxes are the same size as the famous 50 caliber boxes , they are marked as having contained "detonating fuses. empty now.
